    Description

I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I need to part with some of my collection. Lindberg Models was one of the classic model companies in the US before the market shrank and was taken over by excellent and innovative overseas players. This is the classic kit of the
    Southern Belle
stern paddlewheel riverboat. Lindberg first released this kit in the 1950’s and has been re-released a couple of times over the years.
There are over a dozen of these listed on eBay (in various conditions), but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have this in stock and can reliably ship this very quickly.
Here is some of the info I found from around the web:
The Round 2 company has picked up the Lindberg line, along with several notable others (like MPC, AMT and Polar Lights). The Round 2
site has a bare-bones page showing the box art and the following kit highlights:
    §
    1:64 Scale, Skill Level 3
    §
    Historically accurate
    §
    Authentic detail
    §
    Not released in decades
    §
    Reissued illustrations from original packaging
Scalemates.com has a listing that shows this is a 2015 release that is a reboxing of the Lindberg kit from the 1950’s. There are a few links to reviews, but other than that the page is blank.
    hpiguys Workshop
    prepared an 8-minute Unboxing Review
on YouTube. The narrator lays out all the parts on his workbench. He gives you great close-ups of the parts showing the fine detail in the deck planking and steam boilers. He gives you painting tips as he goes, and he wraps up with the instruction booklet and the separate packet of clear plastic window parts.
    hpiguys Workshop
also prepared a 24-minute Build Review
on YouTube. The narrator introduces the kit and then breaks away, returning after he has assembled the major components. He disassembles the model as he explains the construction steps he took. After 7 minutes, we see the primed assemblies and he goes through the painting and assembly of these components. It turned out very nice with some excellent weathering tips applied.
This kit is in a large, well-decorated box about 19” x 10” x 3”. As you can see from the pictures, the package is pristine and still sealed with the original shrink wrap, so it is
    factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready.
This item contains one complete injection molded plastic model kit with over 180 white and clear plastic parts, including a stand, along with a couple of decals and a few crew figures. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown. I use eBay Managed Payments, but I no longer ship internationally. Auction winner pays winning bid and for a limited time, this large item is offered with
Flat Rate Shipping in the US!
No reserve and a low starting bid. Check out my other great auctions and listings for combined shipping. Good luck!
Those familiar with my listings can tell that I really enjoy these products and the modeling hobby. I like to provide more than just the bare facts about the items, trying to lead you into discovering more about the subjects and optimizing your builds (if that is your goal). I started out picking up models that I was interested in, with the eye toward building them when I had time. Always a bargain-hunter, I accumulated many more than I can build, so I found myself in a Collector status (sounds nicer than a hoarder).
As I am sure you have noticed, my items are almost always sealed and in mint condition (I call them Gift-Ready), since I only open them when I am ready to build them. Now I enjoy making these products available to my fellow modelers; both Builders and Collectors. For the Builders, there are probably better (at least cheaper) ways to add to your project lists than buying from me, but you know you are getting top quality. For Collectors, my goal is to save you a few bucks over the competition for the same item in factory sealed and collectible (or resellable) condition.
