    Original 19thc Civil War Confederate hand written letter dated Dec 4 1863 from a soldier in the Army of Northern Virginia-1st Virginia Cavalry,Co I to his " Sis " back home in Georgia...its a 4 page letter thats fairly easy to read....has first hand war accounts " walked 23 miles today-the regiment was drawn up in line of battle ".." the yankees could not see us".." Meade formed in his lines in front of General Lee ".." balls struck in hand of Co I soldiers and one struck with 5 balls"..etc etc ..its 8 x 5 and is clean and readable with normal wear-has original fold lines ..looks and displays well and is  guaranteed original and authentic ...Shipping is via USPS in US and overseas…check listing for other period Civil War items including several Confederate documents...always glad to combine on multiple buys when possible
