    Description

    8” Bisque Head African American Doll Japan.
    Beautiful Bisque Head on a crude Cloth body, marked Japan on the back of the head. The head has 3 red bows catching tuffs of hair. The arms are very short, and have small black hands stitched to the end of the arms. The body is stained. There are a could dents in the head, but they were made during the making of the head and are not damage made later. The head is much better quality than the body. I understand that heads could be bought separately and Mom could make a body for the head. I have no reason to think this wasn’t the original body made for this head. Once dressed, you wouldn’t see much of the body anyway.
