    Description

    All bisque 3-1/2" Baby Bud type moveable arms, molded clothing c.1920, googly. Beginning around 1900 a German all-bisque doll called “Baby Bud” was very popular, and this doll is Japan’s version of the doll. Cute hand painted face with side glancing eyes, molded clothing, moveable arms, marked “NIPPON” on the back. No chips or cracks, but on the bottom of the left foot near the toes there is a place where it looks like the bisque pulled away during firing (see photo).  Pre owned. Very cute little guy. Great condition for being 100 years old!
