AMAZING ANTIQUE DOLL Wood Articulated Body BISQUE HEAD Painted Face DRESSEL KOCH

Description

I have never seen a doll this old. She is approximately 10" long, with a wooden body. Her carved wooden arms and legs are movable, and connected by cords. She has a painted black shoe and white socks with a red stripe. Her bisque head is held on by a wooden dowel. What hair she has left is brown, and her pretty face appears to be hand painted. I think she has glass eyes. The back of her head is marked, but it is hard to read. I think it is a capitol "K" with a capitol "D", then small "ep", and then a line with a small "a" below. I think it is

. She has some damage to the wood - one foot is missing, and a shoulder has some damage. She does need some cleaning up (I was afraid to handle her too much), but I think she is in otherwise great condition for her age.
