ANTIQUE 18K ROSE GOLD BAND W/ "MOTHER" HAND ENGRAVED FAINTLY REMAINING INSIDE

Description

18 karat rose gold wedding band, hand engraved, but faintly preserved, on the inside band "Mother".  The ring weighs 2.4 pennyweights and measures size 5.75, and is 3/16 inch wide.  Marked on the inside band "18K".  There are tiny nicks and very fine scratches on the outside band face, several fine fissures in the inner surface (two crossing the engraving of "Mother"- see photos), and a possible original joining or old very delicate repair with slightly yellow solder crossing the face and inside at the 18k mark (see photos - and note a slight, somewhat rough bevel on one side edge of the band at that point above the solder line as seen from the outside), otherwise in good, sound antique condition.
