Description

I have never seen dolls this old. She is approximately 6 3/4" long, with a wooden body (or maybe it is composition - I don't know for sure). Her carved wooden arms and legs are movable, and connected by cords. She has painted gold shoes (with heels) and her black socks have a red stripe. Her beautiful bisque face appears to be hand painted, and she has tiny teeth. I think she has glass eyes, which open and close, and lots of eyelashes. (one photo looks like there is a spot on the bottom of one eye, but that was just the flash) The back of her head is marked

.  She has a little damage to the wood She does need some cleaning up (I was afraid to handle her too much), but I think she is in otherwise great condition for her age.
