Antique/Vintage Purse-Style Ladies Compact w/ Lipstick & Cigarette Holders, Comb

Here's an antique/vintage ladies' compact that looks like a miniature purse.  I believe that this was produced in the 1940s or 1950s.  There's a mirror on the inside of the lid and a makeup area in the base with a protective lid over it.  To the right of the makeup area is a small plastic comb wrapped in protective fabric.  There's also a compartment beneath the makeup area which is probably designed to hold cigarettes, although it could also be used to hold cash and credit cards.  On one side of the compact, there's a lipstick holder which appears to be unused.  There's a serpentine carrying handle on the top.  Near mint condition; the only blemish is some silvering on the mirror, which comes naturally with age.  Central diamond shape on the outside of lid is designed for a monogram, but nothing has ever been engraved.  All compartments and features operate as they should.  About 3" by 4" (not including the lipstick holder) by just under 1" deep.  Not a modern reproduction - manufactured in the 1940s or 1950s.  No manufacturer's name appears anywhere.  Great addition to any collection of antique/vintage compacts, or use it for your makeup needs.
