Built by Gov. Richard Bellingham in 1659. Enlarged and beautified by Samuel Cary, 1791 Here Washington placed the last outpost of the left wing of the Continental army besieging Boston. Purchased by the Cary House Association 1912. Open to the public Thursday, P.M. from 2 to 5.
