    Description

    Civil War Document
Excellent find here from the 6th Vermont Infantry - a fold out document listing absent soldiers for the month of August 1862.  It lists soldiers by name that have been hospitalized in Alexandria, White House & Hampton, Virginia as well as Philadelphia, Washington DC and elsewhere.  Also lists at least one death and injuries due to battle.  Signed by Lt. Martin Warner Davis of the 6th VT (Civil War database included as shown in the scan).  MUCH to STUDY on this document - many names!!  Historic find.  Measures 16 inches by 10 inches
