Signed by "F. HEIM - BOSTON, MASS."  Where mouthpiece goes, it is marked "AUSTRIA" in small letters.
THIS INSTRUMENT is FINELY MADE.
LACKS MOUTHPIECE & CARRY BOX - BUT DOES HAVE GREEN CLOTH COVERED INTERIOR SECTIONS FROM  LOST CARRY BOX.  HAS MAJOR ACCESSORIES PRESENT AS SHOWN.  TWO "U" TUBES MATCH INSTRUMENT BUT CAN NOT BE FITTED - WITH ONE OTHER "U" TUBE FITTING.  THREE EXTRA "U" TUBES IN PRESENT.
FUNNEL piece w/ JEWELS stamped "MACANART - Bristol, Conn."  Has a chip at opening end rim edge.  TRUMPET has old thick dried cloth tape which appears to be covering an old solder repair on main tube running to where missing mouth goes. One other solder repair near seat of where front finger operated valve is located. One of the 2 small "UY" tubes has two tiny dings.
Beautifully engraved.
