GREAT ANTIQUE DOLL Wooden Articulated Body BISQUE HEAD Teeth DRESSEL & KOCH 10/0

Description

I have never seen dolls this old. She is approximately 8" long, with a wooden body. Her carved wooden arms and legs are movable, and connected by cords. She has painted black shoes (with heels) and her ribbed socks have a red stripe. Her bisque head is loose from her body, but fits in by a wooden dowel. Her beautiful face appears to be hand painted, and she has tiny teeth. I think she has glass eyes. The back of her head is marked

.  She has some damage to the wood - one toe is missing.  There is a piece of cloth around her waist, with a cord binding it - I am not sure why - the cords holding her legs seem to be fine....She does need some cleaning up (I was afraid to handle her too much), but I think she is in otherwise great condition for her age.
