    INSTRUCTIONS
when first received, carefully unwrap the plant. Please put it in a bucket of water if you feel it is a little dry or you cannot plant it right away.
During replanting: The old leaves may dry out during replanting due to lack of water or cold weather or too much sunshine. But the good news is that the rhizome root would survive through most of time and produce new shoots.
Make sure all the rhizome and root covered in soil. Kept it well watered at least for the first several weeks. Also, Bamboo is very strong plant. Sometimes you see yellow or dry leaves and think it is dead, but if you keep watering it, it will survive and become green again. I had several experience of that. Spring is the best season for growing bamboo. Usually new shoots come out after3 or 4 weeks. Some of them took several months to see new shoots if grow in winter.
Water it sufficiently, not too much sunshine at the beginning. If there are too much old leaves, cut some to reduce the burden. The reason we attached as many leaves as possible just to prove it is fresh and healthy. The key point is to allow the root rhizome grow and produce new shoot and it takes time since root grows slowly. Hope it helps. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a good day!
