Description

3-Live cuttings, 3-6 inches tall that have been rooted in Rockwool and ready to be planted in any medium. This oregano is standard in the Caribbean and Antilles regions. They grow fast into a 3-4 feet bush in-ground. Needs at least 4 hours of direct sunlight but does better with more. It flowers during the spring, and the bees and pollinators love it. In winter, prune them back to 1 foot round bush and protect them from the frost. Grows well indoors under LED lights.
This oregano is traditionally used medicinally as an antibiotic, antifungal and anti-viral and for respiratory conditions like asthma, bronchitis, common cold, cough, and the flu. It has also been used for oral, digestive, intestinal infections and to reduce anxiety.
It can be taken fresh or dried, with foods, encapsulated, in teas or oil infusions.
