Called a penny doll, or Frozen Charlotte, they were made in Japan. During the depression in 1929 and the early 1930s they could be bought at the “dime store” for a penny or nickel, and was often all that could be afforded for a little girl.
I have ten of these I will be listing. They have been stored away for years. They are dirty from so many little hands playing with them, but I have not cleaned them. I will leave that to the buyer. No chips or cracks unless mentioned, but may have minor flea bites or paint missing. Selling as is, so look at the photos, or ask questions.
