    Description

This listing is for 10 FRESH cuttings . Cuttings will be at least 5 inches cut the day of shipping. Cuttings will be similar to 2nd picture . Easy to care for beautiful fragrant night blooming flowers.
-blooming cereus is a cactus variety that only blooms its white fragrant flowers at night. These plants prefer well-drained sandy soil, minimal water and partial shade. They're grown outdoors in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 10 and 11, but they can be grown indoors as a houseplant anywhere. Night-blooming cereus requires very little care, but the roots can rot quickly if the plants are over-watered.
    1
Maintain a neutral soil pH, between 6.6 and 7.5. Equal parts sand and potting mix or cactus mix are ideal media for a night-blooming cereus because they drain well.
    2
Keep the night-blooming cereus in an area that receives partial sun either indoors or out. They can grow up to 12 feet in some cases, so provide them plenty of space.
    3
Water the night-blooming cereus plant regularly from March through August, but allow the soil to dry between waterings. Don't let the plant stand in water.
    4
Fertilize night-blooming cereus monthly with 10-10-10 fertilizer from March through August.
    5
Rinse off any mealybugs or spidermites on your night-blooming cereus plant with a low-pressure garden hose or watering can. Cover the soil to prevent over-watering. Alternatively, apply insecticidal soap to all parts of the plant if it's affected with scale or mealybugs. Do this once a week until the pests are gone. You can also use cotton swabs dipped in isopropyl alcohol to remove mealybugs or scale.
    6
Discontinue fertilization in the fall and winter and reduce watering to about once a week until the following growing season. You can leave night-blooming cereus outdoors in the winter as long as temperatures don't drop below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
    WINTER/COLD WEATHER POLICY:
Normal shipping wear such as leaves falling off or disrupted soil should be expected.  Our plants ship from Florida, I you are purchasing from a state with extreme cold weather we have heat packs available to afford your plant more protection. They are listed separately in my store @.99 per heat pack. The heat pack lasts for 72 hours.  Please understand we will not replace for cold damage if you choose not to purchase the heat packs.
-If your plants are damaged when they arrive, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a clear photo of the damage. If you do not send us a photo within 24 hours, your warranty has expired and no refunds or replacements will be considered. I’m sorry, but we cannot make exceptions and cannot afford any other policy. Refunds/replacements will not be considered if your plants have been worked on (repotted/transplanted).
-Keep in mind that you can make shipping faster by upgrading to priority mail. To do this add your item to the cart and request total from seller. This cannot be done from a mobile you must use a laptop or desktop computer.
-Please understand that orders can take up to four days to be shipped. Most orders are shipped out within a four day period of receiving payment , but we may have to ship when we feel it is the most safe. We take great pride and care in our plants, and we want the to arrive to you safely.
-We will not accept carrier notes to “leave package outside if not home” during the cold months unless you live in a warm climate. This is to prevent packages being left outside in the cold/snow.
    Winter Shipping TIPS:
-Heat packs: .99 each. Not mandatory, but it can really help. Please add these to your cart at checkout if you are experiencing temperatures in the 50’s F or colder. You may need two heat packs for large plants/large orders.
-USPS Post Office: We highly recommend allowing us to request your local post office to hold the package for you to pick-up. This way we know the packages are sitting in a warm room once it arrives and not left outside your house in the snow and not traveling around in a cold post office truck all day until it gets to your house. For this option please add note to seller or contact seller , when order is placed ( Hold For Pick- Up) This is for USPS only.
-If possible, please choose an expedited shipping option during the cold months. You don’t want to necessarily go with “the slowest” or the “cheapest possible” when it comes to receiving cold sensitive perishable plants.
USPS express = guaranteed to arrive in 1-2 days from ship date.
USPS priority mail = attempted to deliver in 1-3 days, but not guaranteed within 3 days.
If you are experiencing weather in the teens or colder, perhaps it is best to wait until spring/summer.
Combined Shipping Can Save You Money !!
I do offer combined shipping! The best way to do that is to go ahead and place your order in your shopping cart, but when you get to checkout don’t follow through with payment. Instead, you should find a drop-down menu to the upper right that has an option to request a total from the seller (an invoice). At that point it will show up in my “Awaiting Payment” list and I can put together an invoice for you with accurate shipping.
