and What a cutie he is!!. Manufactured in the 1920's by Nippon (Nippon incised on back of doll) as "First Prize Baby" is this 5", all bisque baby doll with a molded bottle in the right hand and a molded blue diaper. Very nicely painted and has retained most of his paint. The doll has jointed arms at the shoulder and jointed legs, so he can sit or lie down, or move his arms.  The light brown hair, blue eyes, mouth, and eyebrows are carefully painted on.   I did not see any chips, cracks, crazing, etc.  The painting is a matte finish, not a glaze.
It needs to be cleaned.  I will leave that up to the buyer.
