Historic item -An Original 19thc Civil War Confederate hand written from a soldier in the Army of Northern Virginia-1st Virginia Cavalry,Co I -covers the time period between July 7 1863 to Dec 31st 1863...its a 36 page diary written in pencil and tells of his day to day activities...some days he just writes " In Camp "..he tells of picket duty,marching,battle images with captured and killed soldiers etc..its fairly hard to read but can be figured out if you take a little time...his names and info is on inside cover..its just a paper cover...its 5 1/2 x 3 1/2  and has normal expected wear-has a tear on cover...looks and displays well and is  guaranteed original and authentic ...Shipping is via USPS in US and overseas…check listing for other period Civil War items including several Confederate letters ,documents,etc...always glad to combine on multiple buys when possible
