    Original 19thc Civil War Confederate hand written document dated Aug 21 1864 from the Camp of the 1st Virginia Cavalry....its a furlough request for a soldier,Pvt John Gibbons and is also authorizing money to replace a soldiers horse killed in action..says they examined the horse and it was killed in action...six officers signed off on the document......its in good condition and readable with normal wear...looks and displays well and is  guaranteed original and authentic ...Shipping is via USPS in US and overseas…check listing for other period Civil War items including several Confederate documents...always glad to combine on multiple buys when possible
