    A very rare antique doll...marotte Rod doll...German or french...Bisque Porcelain head...hand painted face...on turned wooden rod...from the late 1800's...French Lace and netting...silk millinery flowers and ribbon in her hair...everything appears to be original to the doll...in remarkable condition considering age...I did not see a makers name or origin on the Bisque...the fabric is attached very tightly and I did not want to remove it...she measures overall about 11 1/2" Long by 4 1/4" across at Hat...certainly a rarity to find in this condition and perfect for any doll or toy collection!
