    Description

    This is a very rare, bisque, wire jointed, black miniature doll.  I believe he is an African soldier.  About 3.25" tall.  He is wearing a painted, red hat and is otherwise naked except for his painted on white shorts.  All five fingers and toes are defined.  His face is also defined, showing eyebrows, cheekbones, eyes, ears, mouth and nose.
    This is a very beautiful piece.  Unfortunately, his right arm is broken at the elbow.
