    Request from L. L. Armistead To Ship Bushels of Corn Procured in 1864 - City of Lynchburg. The corn was to be delivered at Marion Depot. The corn was to be for his and his sister's use and not for sale. This was signed by S. M. Simpson, Justice of the Peace.
    Lewis L. Armistead, Born 1831 in Lynchburg, Virginia. He was a Private with the Horse Artillery (Beauregard Rifles) (Lynchburg Beauregards). His parents were Samuel and Nancy Armistead.
    Document is clean and ink is very clear. Amazing condition for age.
