Description

Ornate Sterling Silver compact made by the famous silver company, ARGENTA, in Mexico.  Compact is hallmarked, sterling silver, and ARGENTA.
This piece is most likely mid-century...1950's.  The back of the compact is engraved either with an "M" or a "W" depending on how you hold it.  The inside mirror has a bit of a haze and includes a puff. There is a latch to press to open and close the compact. Also, the pic of the back has my reflection which I could not figure out how to avoid - please disregard the unusual spot on the right hand side of the compact.
