Offered today is an antique pearl 3 stone ring. The mounting is not hallmarked ( it may have been sized) but it tests very stronly positive for solid 18k gold, and may actually be 22k but I don't have any 22k acid.  This is a Victorian ring, circa 1800s, with an amazing hand-carved mounting.
Three very worn pearls are Belcher-set in the center in claw prongs.  Beautiful engraving decorates the setting on three sides-- above and below the pearls, and on the shoulders, with two different types of patterns. Two of the  pearls are definitely origina to the ring and are worn, and the third may be a replacement as it seems to have more polish to the surface.
I can't help thinking what this ring would be like if the pearls were replaced with diamonds--it's so beautifully hand-made!
No visible hallmarks but it tests strongly positive for 18k gold.  The face measures 5/16" top to bottom. It weighs 4.2 grams, is a size 5.5, and the setting is in excellent condition, but the pearls have wear.
