    Description

    2 hand painted, one hand carved vintage Maracas.  The floral one has a design that wraps all the way around the gourd, unlike some that have a blank area in the back. The man on the painted one is holding something but I can't make out what it is.   Each is around 10" long.  The condition is very good vintage, see photos for details.  These belonged to my aunt and uncle, who traveled extensively.  I cannot be sure but I believe the floral one is from Spain and the painted only one is from Mexico or somewhere else in Latin America.
